Prayers to obey God - Pastor Israel Moore

To obey is to do what  one says. It also means to accept orders and to carry them out.

Jesus said 

John 14:23

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Notice , love is synonymous to obedience. If you love someone you will love to obey the person

Obedience brings promotion while disobedience attracts demotion and curses

Deut 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:”

Isaiah 1:19 NLT

If you will only obey me, you will have plenty to eat.

Being obedient requires action 

James 1:22

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

Obeying God brings you to the realm of power and authority 

James 4:7

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil,and he will flee from you.

2 Cor 10:6 And after you have become fully obedient, we will punish everyone who remains disobedient.

We need to examine ourselves and find out areas where we do not fully obey God. Partial obedience is disobedience. It is either we are obeying or not obeying 

Prayers

 Father thank You for your grace and mercies over our lives and family in Jesus name.

Lord we thank you for eternal word that gives life and health in Jesus name.

O lord we ask for the grace to fully obey your word in Jesus name. 

Help us to be doers and not hearers or preachers alone in Jesus name 

Father by your mercy and grace we overcome every act of rebellion in Jesus name.

We bind the spirit of disobedience in Jesus name 

Thank you for answers to prayers in Jesus name. Amen

Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and savior today.

Come into my heart. I believe that you died for me and rose from the dead for my justification.
