Prayers to serve the Lord with a pure conscience- Pastor Israel Moore

Serving God require a pure conscience to be acceptable. For God is a spirit and his worshippers must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Any thing short of this is mere religion 

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24

Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 1:3

3 I thank God,(whom I serve, as my ancestors did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers.”

Your conscience must be clear for your worship or service be acceptable to God. You see, God searches the heart and motives behind our actions.

1 Timothy 1:19, NLT: Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked.”

This is so important so therefore we need to always guard our hearts so that we do not serve in vain.

Paul was diligent in this. He was always maintaining a blameless conscience before God and man

Acts 24:16 So I strive always to keep my conscience clear(A) before God and man.”

Peter maintained a good conscience so that he wouldn’t be ashamed when his enemies reviled him. Once you have a good conscience you have nothing to worry about.

1 Peter 3:16, NIV: keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.

Prayer 

Father thank you Lord for all you have done for us in Jesus name

Heavenly Father we ask that you help us keep a clear conscience in all we do in Jesus name.

Father, purge our hearts with your blood from every filthiness in Jesus name.

Help us to renounce every craftiness and deception in Jesus name 

May our motives be pure and sincere in Jesus name.

Thanks you Lord for answering us in Jesus name . Amen 🙏

Accept the Lord Jesus in your Heart and be saved ❤️ 

Say this prayers with me and mean it with your heart Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and savior today.

Come into my heart. I believe that you died for me and rose from the dead for my justification. With my mouth I confess you as my Lord and savior in Jesus name.🙏
