Prayers to Love those who do not love you- Pastor Israel Moore

When we talk about loving people sometimes we limit it to those who are reasonable. We tend to show love to those that are nice to us only or those in our camp who agree with us.

You see love is beyond that. We must aspire to love like God who does good to unkind people as well.

“For if you love [only] those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do that?”

The tax collectors love only those who love them. So if we love only those who love us we are not different from tax collectors.

People might want to take advantage of you because of the love you share but don’t worry your reward is in both here on earth and in heaven. Sometimes it’s so difficult to love those who despise you but you need to ask for grace to overcome evil with good.

“But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.” Luke 6:35

One thing is sure. The people you do good to might not appreciate it ,do good anyway because of the love of Christ. One of the signs of the age is that men will be selfish and ungrateful. They don’t remember your good works towards them but what you are unable to do for them. Pray for them and as opportunity comes do good to them without thinking of getting a reward.

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;Mathew5:44

There are people no matter what you do for them they will not love you. The Bible admonishes us to do good to them that hate us and pray for those who persecute us.

Prayers 

Father we thank you for all you have done for us in Jesus name.

We ask for the grace to love those who hate us and do good to them in Jesus name.

Give us the grace to practice genuine love towards people even though they might not be kind to us in Jesus name 

We ask for forgiveness in any way we have fallen short of your glory in Jesus name 

Thank you for your goodness over our lives and family in Jesus name Amen 

Prayers  to Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior 

Accept the Lord Jesus in your Heart and be saved ❤️ 

Say this prayers with me and mean it with your heart Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and savior today.

Come into my heart. I believe that you died for me and rose from the dead for my justification. With my mouth I confess you as my Lord and savior in Jesus name.🙏
