 Our minds must be renewed daily by the word of God so that we align ourselves to the will  and purpose of God for our lives.

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:1-2

God had to give Solomon a wise and discerning/ understanding heart .

1Kings 3:12

Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.

We need to ask God to give us a wise and discerning heart . The natural heart is evil and deceitful  hence we should not lean on our own understanding but trust God to guide our hearts into all truth.

Jer 17:9

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Prov 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart;do not depend on your own understanding.

Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Prayers

Father we thank you for all you have done in our lives in Jesus name. Amen

O lord our God, grant us a wise and discerning heart in Jesus name.

Father fill us with wisdom from above with spiritual understanding in Jesus name.Amen

We receive wisdom unto salvation  and the knowledge of your will in Jesus name. Amen 🙏 

Thank you Lord for answers to our prayers in Jesus name. Amen 🙏
