Prayers for our marriages and Families - Pastor Israel Moore

Marriage is the oldest institution created by God. God created Adam and Eve and commissioned them blessed, to be fruitful, to replenish the earth, subdue it, multiply and have dominion over it and everything He created.

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.Gen 1:28

No wonder Satan has been fighting this institution right from its inception but he will not succeed.

We are grateful to God for the victory Christ gave the Church by His death and resurrection.

We are the temple of the living God and through us God is expanding His kingdom. The church of God consist of families connected by the blood of Jesus Christ and that is why the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church of God.

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.  Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Rev 12:11-12

Prayers

Father , thank you for our families and marriages.We are secured in the covenant of the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord.

We declare that the hedge over our families/ marriages shall not be broken in Jesus name.

We seal any hedge that may have been broken  by the blood of Jesus in Jesus name. Amen

We pray for wisdom and understanding for our fathers and mothers in Jesus name.

We ask for grace to be united in spirit and in flesh ( husbands & Wives)  as you and the father are one in Jesus name.

We bind the spirit of divorce in Jesus name.

We ask for grace that our husbands will love their wives as Christ loves the church in Jesus name 

We pray that our wives will submit to their husbands as the church submits to Christ in everything in Jesus name.

We declare peace and unity in our marriages in Jesus name.

As many who desire to marry, direct them in Jesus name.
