Prayer is a Journey- Don’t allow Satan and his agents stop you

The life of Jesus Christ our savior on earth was a life of prayer. The disciples   proposed to give themselves continually to prayers and to the ministry of the word (Acts 6:4)

Prayers  should be continuous and not occasionally. 

Mark 1:35 

And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

Even in heaven Jesus is still praying for us. This is to tell you how it is important for us living on earth to be prayerful. No wonder the devil attacks the act of prayers. And some lazy Christian’s make you feel you are wasting time praying.

Romans 8:34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.

Do you know a life of prayers keeps the devil away? When men sleep the enemy sows tares Mathew 13:24-30. It is also important to work while praying. Some abandon their responsibilities and only pray. It doesn’t work like that.. Faith without work is dead ( James 2:14-26)

 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.  And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8:26-27

How can you survive as a Christian if you are not prayerful. Jesus even stated that his house shall be called a house of prayers. When you stop praying , you will make your life a den of robbers ( demons)

When your heart is right and you are prayerful you will be preserved from the enemy and sin will not find a place in your life.

Romans 8:25 Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives mto make intercession for them.

Your life of prayer is a journey until we meet Jesus so don’t let Satan and his agents make you feel you are wasting time praying. 

Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you how to pray effectively . One thing I can assure you is that prayerfulness kills the flesh with fasting.

Faithful God, please help me to pray consistently in Jesus name. Amen

Let my heart be right before you so my prayers will not be hindered in Jesus name.

Grant me grace to have deeper communion with you always  in Jesus name.
